Llanharan Community Council
Llanharan Community Council contacted us in 2019 with a view to looking at their website. Cathy was looking to freshen up their website and give it a warm community feel.
Working with Cathy has been great and together we have developed a site that truly will become the heart of the community.
Llanharan Community Council website has features such as:
- A document library
- An events calendar
- A community notice board
- Latest News
- Council members directory
- Gallery – for all their local photography
Finally, we added accessibility tools in order to support all additional needs in reading the website.
This website will give the community a one stop shop for everything they need to know in their locality.
Derwen Accountancy Limited
Following a recommendation Helen contacted us to help her with the set up of her new business. Helen Williams is a Chartered Accountant. After many years of working for a reputable firm, Helen made the decision to go self employed.
During our first meeting Helen had a vision that was inspiring. She has clear objectives to the direction of her business. Having a young son, family is key for her and her husband and this resinated through in her business goals.
The first step was to design a logo, with the business name already in place and her ideas for designs bursting out, we wrapped up the logo design in the first meeting.

An advert and stationary….
The last 6 months have just flown by. Helen now has a website www.derwenaccountancy.co.uk and her facebook business page has gone from strength to strength.
Helen has great plans in place for the growth of the business. We are really pleased to be part of her journey.

DTCS Financial Ltd
Dan asked us if we could help him with a website. His current online presence is mostly through social media, namely his facebook business page.
We were delighted to help. At our first meeting we explored Dan’s business needs along with what input he would be able to do in the development of the site. It was agreed that we would build the site in WordPress. All the functionality Dan needs is available in WordPress and he will be able to login himself and make updates without having to constantly ask us to make changes. Obviously security is key, so there is a specific route Dan will need to take to access the editing part of the website. After choosing a theme we headed off to build the basis of DTCS Financial Ltd while Dan continued with his work.
At the meeting Dan started to talk about an opportunity he had to advertise in an industry magazine. He showed me his advert, which was cool, however with a bit of design and flare we could give it a bit more vavavoom! Overnight, we put this together for him as the print deadline was tight.
A few weeks went by, the website was taking shape. Not being financial advisors our content was very top line. It was over to Dan to really put the meat on the bones. We spent an hour with Dan teaching him the ins and outs of WordPress, how his theme works and how to update his content. Dan picked it up immediately. He spent some time working on it and is now LIVE!
This is only the beginning of our relationship with DTCS Financial Ltd. We will continue to work on any design for print, photography (yes some of the images do need changing) and supporting Dan keeping the website fresh.
